    Default 300 Savage Ammo Giveaway

I have a box of Winchester 150 grain Silvertips (300 Savage) to give away. This ammo run by the public is crazy and I have some ammo I don't need. Nobody I know has a rifle that shoots this, so I'm putting up for free on here. (20 rounds)

    First come, first serve.

Gotta tell you, it's about 20 years old, but who the hell cares.... it's free.

let me know who wants it.

    James

Missed it by a lot more, just kidding,I make my own brass and cast my own bullets, plus I have a good stash of J bullets as well.

Glad to see somebody is still shooting the old cartridge and got some free ammo. Way to go OP.

Technically I cant say I shoot this round. I have a Savage 99 but haven't fired it yet. I should probably remedy that.

Darn, I was too slow as well. Those old Silvertips are collectable. I still hunt Whitetails with my Dad's old Model 99R - probably the heaviest Model 99 that Savage ever made. I handload for this caliber and a few years ago I lucked out and obtained one of the old Lyman Ideal, "nutcracker" style reloading tools. It's not as efficient as my modern reloading dies/press but it goes well with the old 99 and cast bullets.
