    Default Svord Peasant question.

Does anyone use thread lock (locktite) on theirs? I did a little gardening with it today and it seemed to loosen the pivot screw.

I'd probably try a couple of wraps of Teflon pipe tape on the screw before I used locktite. I've used Teflon tape on lots of different little bolts and screws when I didn't want something as final as locktite.

I thought red loctite = permanent, blue loctite = temporary.

I think one of the beautiful things about the knife is that it can been disassembled rather easily.
when mi screws loosen up I just tighten 'em Good luck.

Good point there. I was just thinking, out in the bush, you might not have a screwdriver. It's not critical to have the tension just right; the knife will still work when screws are loose. Perhaps I'm over-thinking the matter.

I completely understand, I overthink everything about knives, LOL, I usually have a sak of some kind nearby, and both drivers on a standard sak will work on the svord screws. I keep mine extra tight, so it has no chance of being mistaken as a gravity knife in the eyes of the local lEO's in light of our new gestapo knifelaws..Good luck
