    Default American Beech bark cordage?

    Both the Pawpaw and American Beech are found in Ohio, and I've used the former to make bark cordage. It's bark peels off pretty easily and is pliable.

    Does anyone have experience using beech bark? From the looks of it, it seems like it'd be good for making cordage, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

    Have not tried Beech yet . Mostly Bass wood , Willow and Slippery Elm . My absolute favorite tho is the bark off of Mulberry roots .
