Default Are you in the SW Pa area?

The Hiking Club Of Raccoon Creek State Park has started a meetup group to help promote outdoor activity at the park. In addition to our monthly hikes, we will be posting info on many of the other events in the park. We're a family friendly group that hikes at a moderate pace through one of SW Pa's hidden gems. We are planning some overnight trips and maybe a couple of longer distance hiking challenges.

I'm a canoe camper at heart, but have a nice pack now and enough light gear to get by for back packing. Is there a regular set meeting for the group? Surely there are some more PA folks here.

Raccoon Creek is one of my favorite places to hike in this area, another really nice are in this part of the state is Forbes State Forest and Galitzin State Forest. Ill have to look into the group and hopefully make to some hikes out that way.

    Thanks Bill

Nice to see. I'm in Ligonier. Trying to find time to get out with my son. I used to canoe there.
