Given the fact that I've already needed both this morning, I'd love to see both an awl and a Marlinspike thin enough for paracord, but thick enough for normal -sized rope.

Agreed. I can show it to my son and tell him "One day son, this awl will be yours".

That's the combo awl / blanket pin / flint striker that some of the folks have mentioned in this thread.

It's an ingenious idea for combinatorial, multitool utility.

If you made some of these, Lisa ... I would be very interested!
in some old books these are also called cloak pins. the pin also works as a good awl or marlin spike in a pinch. i like that striker combo idea!

I'd totally love a folding firegrate/grill. Strong enough to support a pot, with the bars close enough to grill a Burger or steak.

I have a design I came up with. But don't have the skills or tools yet.

Indeed. The Celtic term - "penannular" describes said pins or brooches as well.

You can Wikipedia said term for more information ...

I Either run a strap and carabiner around the tree or square lash limb to a tree no damage to the tree and no worries about trying to pull it out.

I second the request for mouse hawks. I would love a quality mouse hawk for my kids to use. also I would like to see arrow heads and small spear points that could double as a cutting edge. something like the ESEE arrow head but forged.

Yes, don't damage a live tree unless absolutely necessary.

I would like to see a socket handle knife about the size of the discontinued cold steel Mini Bushman.

The blanket pin/awl/striker is nice also.

four-sided awl, maybe from 1/8 stock, long enough for an antler handle.
