PayPal Changes

I've not had to enter any thing really personal. SSN, bank acct #, full name... but, I've never received money into the acct. It is only used to pay out. Maybe that makes a difference?

As for how money gets into the account, PP works just like your bank accounts - anybody can make a deposit without question. The bank is only restrictive about who draws money out.

Almost 2 years ago I started getting PayPal inquiries about my account supposedly from PayPal regarding my password. They were not the same as what I normally would get from them. I tried to inquire and verify they had emailed me about my account and never got an answer. So, I said good bye and haven't looked back. Didn't use it that much anyway so no great loss. It has prevented a couple of purchases from members here though that only do business that way. I use money orders now except for regular credit cards on major sites that take them and are places I can and have trusted over time.
