At Christmas a coworker brought in his wife's secret family bacon. I think it was similar to the caramelized bacon above with the addition of lots of black pepper.God was that delicious.

that stuff looks good. i want to make some homeade bacon, but the local butcher shop told me I would hafta order bellies in 40 pound bulk. The next week I went in and he has 15 packages of fresh "farm" bacon he called it in his cooler.
