    Thanks Ranger Joe for a great review of one of my all time favorite knives. I carry mine every day. It hangs from my belt on a hanger KABAR USMC made for me so it doesn't drop to the bottom of the pocket. I use it all the time at work, home, and in the woods.

    I've been looking at the SAK's for EDC, since I find my leatherman a bit too heavy and bulky, at times, and really like the farmer. In Denmark we have some pretty tough restrictions on knifes (especially when carrying them in the city) how long is the blade, and does it lock?

    The blade length is 2.75" and does not lock. Total closed length of the tool is 3-3/8" (91mm). Reference:
