I always bring a small flask of Everclear for emergencies (i.e. wound dressing, fire starting & happy hour etc...). Pretty much mixes with anything except firearms.

I usually stick to water or instant coffee. Last time I went out camping, I took a flask of amaretto. On the rocks, a little warm, mixed in a soda or coffee. It's all good.
I tend to drink. If I am going to be out more than just a few hours I will bring a flask of whiskey. Irish, Scotch, bourbon or Canadian.
Always wanted to try real sloe gin, like the British drink during hunts. But I have never seen it for sell.
Strong black coffee for me.

Most of my outdoors time is with the scouts so it is coffee or tea most of the time but cold guinness or a little Jameson's is good for other occasions.
