Default Saw a pair of Bald Eagles on Christmas, now a pair of Golden Eagles on Valentine Day.

Nope, no pictures of either, so it didn't happen.

But I claim to have seen the Golden's while waking up at my secret snooze-in-the-van-in-the-sun-place (the parking lot of a local grocery store).

A pair of Goldens just seem to like to soar in broad circles, flap their wings once in awhile, and be around each other, unless it's for a little loven...then that looks a bit like a WW I dogfight.

Maybe Mr. Eagle forgot it was Valentine's Day?

Gollum: "What's taters, precious? What's taters, eh?"

Sam: "Po-ta-toes. Boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew"

Bald Eagle a couple weeks ago on the Kitimat River, Kitimat, BC, Canada

I was able to get almost to spitting distance from it. Felt pretty darn jazzed, believe you me!

    Cheers!
