Ken, it's identical to the one on this link. Very handy for knifemaking when drilling holes for rivets in the tang.

...Thanks for sharing the tip on drilling ferro rod. I will most certainly be giving this a try. Buying them pre-drilled from the Paracordist or Firesteel.com is a bit pricey for my taste.

Just be careful with the shavings while drilling as they can spontaneously ignite. It's a good idea to sweep away the shavings a few times as you're drilling.

Moa, that is a cool one...will see if I can get one. Yeah, no lie, about the shavings...had to stop drilling...think it is a good idea anyway periodically to cool things down..since they would spontaneously take off.

What diameter ferro rod are you useing?

I would like to make one like that and weave in one of the p-38's I got from a certain knife guy on this forum when I ordered a plethera of Mora's.

we made a deal some time back that I would never sell his work/idea. so like moa says you can get them from him. No problem in making one but can't sell it.
