    Question My "Saturn" Rock

Picked this rock up from the Bruce Peninsula here in Ontario for our garden. I call it our "Saturn" rock because it resembles the planet. Anyone know what this type of rock is called and how it came to be?

This is not really a flora or fauna question but it does have to do with identifying something from nature. If it doesn't belong here please move where appropriate.

A vein of molten material developed in the original rock and hardened. It was harder than the original rock. The whole thing broke off and and eroded by glaciation and water action. Since the outside was softer rock, it erodes faster than the vein in the center. Interesting find.

The center ring is so perfectly formed it looks as if the whole piece was formed in a mold.

    Nice find!
