    Default Intermediate outing #2

Tagged along with Terry last week to help him start setting up a camp for his upcoming class.

Hiked around the grounds and found a campsite. Started clearing it and collected some firewood.

We got a gear rack up and started a fire and made some lunch.

Worked on a bushclass elective. Tried some leaves still hanging on a ironwood, no luck.

Basswood bark worked a lot better.

    Knives that got some use.

    One of the underground bunkers.

We jacked around with our firesteels and tried some different tinders and then called it a day.

Nope, it was locked up. If I got in it, it would just make me want to get one and the wife has other plans for my money.

Surprised the opening of the bunker was so out in the open like that. Id have thought it'd be disguised or something. Looks like a great excursion and great fun. Thanks for sharing!

I keep forgetting to pull out the lense when I'm out. I need to keep that one in mind. Looks like a good time Rescue.
