She sounds like a REAL catch. I wouldn't let her get away, if I were you.
She's smart too! Just got accepted to dental school! Lol I'm doing everything I can to keep this one!

Congrats! You've found that rare breed of female that is actually into the outdoors! There are definitely hard to come by. Better hang on to her

All kidding aside, it looks like you guys had a fun time!

Very envious as I can't even get my wife into summer camping. She seems to be a keeper (and free dental too!?). You guys are a good looking couple to boot.

Great pics thanks for sharing. How do like the pocket rocket? I love mine pretty dang handy for quick boil and weighs nothing. Also is that a Dragonfly in the pic too. Have one of those too nice little stove, Even if a bit loud.

I have a pocket rocket and love it! but that’s actually a Snow Peak LiteMax Titanium stove (they were out of snow peak fuel), it folds up even smaller than the pocket rocket and is slightly lighter. I brought it along to test it in the snow, just got it last season... it failed! Wouldn't stay lit for more than 2 minutes, in its defense it doesn’t run great on MSR fuel for some reason, but I think it was just too cold for that type of fuel. I hear you can use those adhesive heat packs to warm the fuel bottle which may help, but I didn’t have any.

The white gas stove is a Wisperlite International, I was between the Dragonfly and the Wisperlite but ended up getting the Wisperlite. Everyone said you were able to control the heat output better with the Wisperlite… which I personally think is false because its horrible on the Wisperlite! (at least in this model, I got it in 2008 and the new model doesn’t look the same)

Very lucky indeed. Great pics. How far in did you go? Any distance is far enough with a new partner in snow. And what did you use to make your sled?
