Thanks man. We didn’t go in very far, we parked at one spot and hiked in about 100 feet to a spot on an adjacent loop that wasn’t plowed.

The "makeshift" pulk is nothing more than an old Paris sled I had lying around. It’s pretty beat up but was helpful getting the wood and some gear from the car to camp. I'm in the process of making a more permeate pulk and hope to have it ready for next season. However, all the stores in my area are sold out of sleds and I don’t want to spend money for shipping.

Congrats on the snow campin' with the girl. Azalea huh? I was just up there playin' in the snow with the fam two weeks ago. Recently asked my wife about hot tenting. You know, with a little stove and all. She said she'll pass, heh heh. Oh well, I tried. You in the general area?

Haha nice! I've always wanted to try hot tenting... Looks warm! Ya, I'm down in Visalia.

Good job getting her out there. BUTTTT, you need zip together bags, just saying. Body heat is a good thing. I read that naked bodies share more heat. Perhaps you can do some test.

That girl being cute is beside the point . She looks like a lot of fun, and enthusiastic to boot . Hang on tight my friend .

Well, howdy neighbor. I'm in town too. There's talk of get togethers up and down the state in the near future. Trying to find a centralized spot as well. So maybe we'll see ya around.

Thanks. Here in East Tennessee, we can get enough elevation to get a foot to two of snow in the 4-5000 foot range. I don't up there enough to make it worth shelling out for a new pulk, but I often think it would be nice to have a rig when the snow is above mid-calf.

Looks like a great trip! Wish I could get my significant other into camping! Thanks for sharing.
