The funny thing is, I guarantee the administration will gladly include gun/ammo sales in the economic figures to show how well the economy is "recovering".

We all should be kicking ourselves for not taking advantage of the 5000 rounds of 22lr for $120 shipped from a year or so ago.
What scares me is that if the progressives get their way the scare won't end.

You reload .22lr? And the rush will probably die down about Christmas.

if i may, mods please remove if not revelent. i recall the 1965 auto workers strike, 74 oil embargo, brady bill, assult weapon ban, and the ban on the plastic glock pistol. just wait and all will settle down again. i never had trouble getting gas even though they imposed the odd/even tag number system. i may be older than most of you, but these things too will pass. sincerely, central joe

No haha, I was saying that I can't find components around me so have been looking to get more .22 and that was all gone so I am down too 125rds of .22lr and about 200rds of handloads. I have 4,200 rounds of .22 coming the end of this month though. Got some federal bulk. But until them Im rationing, .22 only for hunting.

Right now guns and ammo are like when they recently stopped making twinkies. Folks who have not even thought about one in 20 years had to rush out and buy all they could get ahold of........wait it out and see what happens.

Whenever the "Chicken Little" panic buying and profiteering is over. We went through this once before, not too long ago. There is no real reason to hoard .22 LR ammo but greed knows no bounds. Last time around I watched guys buy up every last brick of .22 ammo on the shelf at China Mart, intending to sell them at gun shows for inflated prices.
