I'm good on plinking .22LR but woudl really like to find about 10 boxes of CCI Stingers and 10 boxes of CCI Velocitors.
Haven't seen any around here in 5-6 months.

all I know is I hope it calms down soon. I have a stripped AR lower that I want to start building, but can't find parts in stock anywhere...and if you can you're going to pay triple price if you're lucky! And ammo here in San Antonio is a joke, if you time a trip to Academy just right you might get lucky if they just got a truck in...
    Good luck to all

Yeah, lots of your neighbors (including businesses) in Kalifornistan are moving here to Texas... Time to vote with your feet!

    Forum members,
This shortage and the attack on our freedom that are causing it will only calm down in one of three ways:
    1. Gun owners do not give it their all and the Extreme Left wins. Calm because we will be subjects.
    2. Gun owners put just enough pressure on to make the Left shelve this for a b it and lull the gun owners to sleep. With just little bites of their freedom. Prices will come down a bit and over- 10 rd mags won't be around so there will be no shortage.
    3. Gun owners of ALL political persuasions put so much pressure on their senators and congresspeople that they cease this attack on our liberty in fear of being voted out. Power is all they care about and if they believe they will lose it they will back off. If they do, there has to be enough pressure to vote them out anyway and vote people in that will support the 28th amendment and /or term limits.

I have seen a lot since I started voting in the 60's and those that have said things will calm down are right. They always do. The trick this time is to see that the calm takes place with a positive outcome for gun owners and all Americans that believe in freedom.

I just ordered a stripped lower. Going to take a while to get it, I'm hoping things will settle down by then. If not, I will put it in the safe until they do.

the guy at the local sporting goods store said they always sell a lot of ammo around election time. He said they were running low when Obama was first elected, and after a few months things went back to normal, but prices went up. Now with all this political drama, things are worse and will probable last a little longer, but I have a feeling they will settle down in a matter of months.
