Default 44% discount on Presidents Day at Uncle Sams Army Navy Outfitters.

Just FYI everyone. Tomorrow www.armynavydeals.com is having a
44% discount sale for Presidents Day on their entire inventory.
At least that's what the email said. Just thought I'd pass it on.

Thanks for the heads up, but they seem pretty proud of their gear. Used poncho liner for $44.77?

I don't see any discounts, was there a coupon code we needed?

Must need a coupon code. They want $159 for the old 20 lb extreme cold sleeping bag. Its $99 here locally.

Thanks for heads up. They just seem rather expensive and notived free shipping but nothing about a sale.

Generally overpriced. For example, the Buck 110 folding knife w/ finger grooves, listed at $105.70, is $59.19 after the 44% off. The same knife on Amazon is $46.43.

True, a lot of their stuff is overpriced ($300 for a USGI goretex bivy? I got one on An Auction Site for 1/10th that...) But a few items are actually underpriced. I am picking up a couple of gas mask bags for a couple of dollars. They have some cool vintage Euro military gear, also pretty reasonably priced. If you are looking for current USGI stuff, I would say look elsewhere, but there are some good deals here.

one of their stores is maybe 15 miles from my house. I only went inside once and never again. it was a total dive, their prices were crazy and 90% of what they had was not even surplus stuff. Just new stuff they were trying to pass off as surplus.

I try to purchase local whenever I can but I avoid them.
