Default Need a canvas pack recommendation please

I'm looking for a nice canvas and leather day pack with the following features:
    • waxed canvas and leather
    • top-loading
    • preferably no zippers
    • at least 1 pocket on outside that will fit a standard Nalgene but preferably 2-3 pockets
    • pocket on top flap for my first aid kit and some basic tools
    • a place for an axe handle would be nice but not necessary
    • a reinforced place to lash a blanket on top and/or bottom would be nice
    • removable waist strap would be nice but not necessary

German/NATO rucksack is close, but not exact. Ebay. $55 plus $15 shipping.

The italian mountain ruck is pretty close, and dirt cheap. It's not waxed canvas, but is internally rubberized. No leather parts though. Also the two outside pockets have velcro as an additional closure, but the flaps close fine without it, so I recommend removing it unless you're going to be going upside down. It's a pretty good piece of kit, keeps snug on the back.
