    Default Another hatchet ID thread. I know.

    Need help with this hatchet.

    Found a strange mark on the underside of the head, by the eye.

    Here's what I've got:

    With the rectangular box I would say maybe a Collins or Plumb

    What he said, however, I would lean more towards a Collins. Collins very often stamped their axes near the poll. Plumb very often stamped their axes near the middle of the head.
