Default SPF: Bark River Liten Bror 3V "Maroon" Micarta Handles, Custom Sheath.

Another knife up for sale. I'm guessing people are pretty familiar with this one. (if not: http://www.barkriverknifetool.com/B-LitenBror.htm) It's a 3V "Maroon" Micarta handled Liten Bror with a custom matching sheath. Please Note: I put the color in quotes because the box says "Red Linen Micarta" and since I'm the second owner I can't confirm this. A look at the picture on the BRKT site shows the red to be very bright red. This knife is closer to the maroon micarta pictures on the BRKT site.

Knife is a half height convex grind--which gives tremendous support to the edge. This, coupled with the CPM 3V makes this one tough blade imo.

The pictures I've take are true to the actual color.

As you can see from the pictures the sheath is well made and heavy duty. The knife has been used a few times and sharpened maintaining the original convex. It's sharp now. Overall the knife is in great condition.

As you probably know, Bark River will give the knife the "spa" treatment, returning it to like new condition for only $15 if you'd like. This knife is nowhere near needing that though; CPM 3V is a serious steel.

Comes with 1) Knife 2) Custom Sheath and 3) Original Box. NO stock sheath

    sold pending funds

I'd like to trade it for a BRKT Aurora.

Check out the pictures, ask me any questions you may have. If anyone's interested I'll take paypal (gift please or factor that into your offer) or a money order.

    Cheers and thanks for looking.

It looks like the sheath had a ferro rod loop at some time. Was it cut off?

You are right, it does look that way. It was like that when I received it so I can't answer with certainty. I will say that if it did have a ferro rod loop there, the rod might interfere with the belt loop while wearing...but again just speculation.

The knife is fully convexed; no secondary bevel.

I'll trade you for some trekking poles and one camo glove. I can also throw in some tree books.
