    Default My Wool Anorak

Well I have said it before and I'll say it again, I have the best wife in the world! I made a deal with my wife, I would buy her a serger if she made me the anorak. We used a pattern for a fleece hoodie and it worked great with only a small modification to have togggle closures instead of a zipper. I found the blanket at a local church thrift store for I think $5. The antler toggles are from a small spike horn whitetail deer I shot last fall. I bought the leather with a coupon from Michaels and I have enough left over for a Sami sewing kit. I kept the tag off the blanket and sewed it onto the anorak to preserve the heritage of the blanket in a way. I think it turned out fantastic. Thanks for the inspiration BCUSA.
