Canvas Question

Does anybody know where I can buy good quality canvas so I can make some things? Thanks!

IIRC, this company provides a lot of odd outdoor DIY fabrics for hammockers and tarp makers. I've never ordered from them personally, but i saved the link for some reason, and i usually only do that after hearing something good about a supplier.

I have also informed my local surplus bubba that I would be interested in buying his damaged shelter halves (provided it's on the edges, and i can get a sizeable swatch of useable fabric) which he would otherwise have to throw out or pay to get repaired (he gets huge lots of stuff, some is good, some is not). They retail for about $8. i'm happy to get it for half price (what he paid for it) and he's happy to recover his money. I'm lucky though, to have him nearby.

It may be a bit lighter grade than you are looking for but the canvas drop cloths that they sell at Lowe's may be worth checking out. They aren't horribly expensive if I recall.

I bought some tarps last year from an outfit I believe was called Chicago Canvass and Tarp Company. I'm sure a Google search would pull them up. They were good to deal with and the canvass was 1st rate.
