    Default Discovery Park in winter

Out for exercise and fresh air to Discovery Park (formerly Fort Lawton). A cool grey Seattle winter day that some how makes the green of the mosses even more vibrant.

Very nice! Not far from my place, I'll have to venture out there and check it out.

Something about a forest full of mossy trees is hauntingly beautiful. Great pics!

Good times in that park when I was a kid.

Nice. Are there areas in the park to practice some bushcraft skills, like fire starting, or building a shelter with deadwood, etc?
