Cooking with a history.... (well, most of them.....)

This one is like new... tried it out, boiled water for tea, and relegated to the BOB in the station wagon.

The 1.5 ltr Flex-Ring pot was never used (NIB) $58.00

When it reached the point that I was cooking for two, I graduated to the Peak I. It fits nicely into a padded bag (cozy?), and then into a half gallon pot.... enough water to make soup, tea, and reconstitute Mountain House meals. I built a cozy for the pot out of a sleeping mat, which did a great job of keeping enough water hot enough to rinse dishes. You may want to take my cozy apart and use it as a pattern to build one you like better. The whole rig sat perfectly into the center section of my Kelty packframe..... $52.50

Back in the '60s, Early Winters was a somewhat elitist builder of lightweight camping gear. None of the items I bought 'way back then have ever worn out... or even shown much wear. This is their 'personal' (toilet/first aid/comfort) kit, with pockets for liquids, a plastic mirror with velcro to attach when the kit is hanging, a wash basin, comb, and plenty of room to "customize"..... $15.00

While we're at it, might's well throw these in.... the one on the far left is a Gerber Multi-Plier tool kit, First Production Run. It spent a lot of time in my glove box, so the case shows some 'rolling-around' wear... otherwise, new condition. $27.50

The middle Leatherman has a bunch of tools for something that folds up so small; it spent time on the belt of my packframe, and was used once or twice to unjam a stove cap. $21.50

On the right, a Crunch with locking pliers. This usually lived in the tool kit for my bike, but was honestly seldom used. $30.00
