Quote: "I just don't think its moral to kill an animal because you find it being what it is as offensive"
I will respect and buy that all day long. It is your value system and it is all anyone needs to say. Not stepping on roaches, not setting a trap for a mouse under the sink, not shooting a coyote that just killed your dog, not trapping a beaver that has flooded thousands of dollars in timber, after all, all of these animals are just being what they are and doing what they do. There are plenty of people who feel just as you do. I think it is an extremist viewpoint but then I am sure mine could be regarded the same, just on the other end. We balance each other out nicely I think....
Cheers!

Nice parkerized Model 12, man.
thank you, raven ...
I find this a bit hilarious.
I grew up around 'water moccasins'.
They were in the creeks and farm ponds, basically anywhere we went.
We swam in those ponds and creeks.
You see...
The trick is... Is just to throw a few rocks in the pond, creek, etc., so as too fluster the snakes.
We never got bitten or had any problems with them!
We knew they were there, but they left us alone![]()
I also grew up around cottonmouths. We fished in their territory, picked blackberries nearby, etc. We once threw rocks at a sunning cottonmouth hanging out on a limb over the water. He looked up at us, jumped in the water and swam across it towards us, then boldly started coming up the bank to "ask us why we were throwing at him I guess?" However, we quickly decided NOT to stick around and waiting for him to get there. Boy I think we may have broken a couple land speed records getting up out of there. Lesson learned for us, never throw rocks at cottonmouths unless we are ready to meet any potential attacks with a forceful reply...
