I think everything they make is backordered on the day of release. L.T. and Dan are marketing geniuses. I know folks that buy every new release regardless of what it is. BHK could put out toenail clippers forged from the bumpers of Chrysler K-cars and folks would still flood them with orders.

Now dang it, when are they going to ship my new Small Workhorse?!

So Cavemike, where in Luthersville are you at? That's a half-whistle stop town so you can't be too far from my daughter and son-in-law. I'm just up the road in Fayetteville.

Interesting design. Rick Marchand had a knife out several years ago called the Bush Pig.

The Woodsman Pro is probably their best large blade. I think the success of that blade caught them a bit off guard. They had a hard time completing all the orders during the initial release (part of the problem was that they were having trouble sourcing some of their custom Micarta). I got one when it was originally released and it is by far my favorite BHK blade - the size, blade profile, handle shape and balance are about perfect. It is one stout piece of steel, and carries a bit heavy on the belt, but it is an excellent all around blade. I'm actually thinking of asking them to make me another, but this time in D2 or CPM 154. I'm tired of my O1 blades rusting if I so much as look at 'em funny.

This knife looks like a great deal, but I am still unsure as to what niche it fulfills. Is a blade of this width going to make it impossible to do intricate tasks? It looks pretty sweet nonetheless. I sort of wish that they made a Woodlore clone, although the bushcrafter exhibits some resemblance.

I had to order one. Too nice of a deal to pass up.

For 112 I can't beat it, I have one on the way, the bushpig may replace my boat tail.

Also suckered me in. This will probably replace my woodsman...90 days is a long time.

Don't know how i feel about A2, I don't have much experience with it. Compared to O1, it has more chromium, no tungsten. For all intents and purposes will probably be similar to O1, but be marginally harder to sharpen, will keep it's edge marginally longer and will stain/rust marginally less. Doesn't seem like a whole lot of difference.
