That was great thanks alot for posting the cool pics. I was working on my bow drill skills this weekend did not have much luck I will keep trying. Thanks again

Great job, getting fire. The porcupine was an interesting change- never eaten that as we don't have them in my area.

Looks like a great place to camp and be alone !

Great post!
I hope you did save the quills. If nothing else, the last time I heard, they were much in demand by the craft folks. I've seen some fantastic N.A. jewelery made from them. That roast porky sure looks more tasty than a pine martin.

Very impressive! You be a doer 'stead of a talker. Dealing with Mr. Porky probably puts you beyond the mere "5%ers". Mind telling us a bit more about your .223?

Now if we could just get some of that snow that's be'n wasted on D.C. (grin). See'n any snowshoes over your way? I've visited a favorite balsam thicket with enough sign that I'm go'n back when we get a fresh snow.
