We have had several younger bushcrafters- either children of members or being taught/ mentored by members- who needed a bit of help getting started with gear.
I think a lot of this gifting goes on unnoticed, as it is done from good will rather than a need for recognition.

I know Kepis is raising two young bushcrafters in the UK, and teaching some classes for a number of youngsters at times. Sure he could see some gear to proper new homes.

Here, well, there are a number of younger Bushcrafters logged on as members, and several more who are not members but go out with their parents. Always a good place to see if they have a use for something.

I would much rather give a bit of kit to a youngster that will really use it and get the most from it, than trade it for another item I really don't need. <g>.

Check around, opportunities abound.

Ok, here's another item I have found:

It's a German Army blanket. It's a poly-wool blend and measures 55"x72"
