I got two today and my buddy got one. Great day in the field

Not sure that qualifies as little
People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
A little whitetail buck I got the last week of the season, in the forest behind my place. Shot him at 60 yds, dropped right there.
He must have been scrapper; busted off a couple of points.
This year I have finally gotten a chance to do some rabbit hunting. It's been years since I went and had a great time. Two days yielded 7 rabbits, 3 squirrels, 5 quail (breasted out and bacon wrapped most of them already. It's like wrapping bacon around a chicken nugget!!)
Just a medium sized doe but I can't say how happy I am to have a little meat for the freezer! I'll try to do a little write up later today. This season was terribly frustrating.....
I took 7 cottontails today using my Hatsan 95 .22 cal airgun aka Thumper. There's a link below to my post about the hunt in the Trips and Expeditions forum of BCUSA.

Quick question: I see all these hunters out here, how are the laws? Can you just hunt what you want or is this poaching? I have done quite some trapping, mainly rabbit, grouse and pigeon. Now I've ordered an airgun, I'm looking to get into some serious hunting although it's pretty illegal, there's wayyy too much rabbit and grouse out here. It's getting sort of like a plague, they don't fear mankind any more and they sometimes even beg for food. So I wouldn't feel guilty at all, getting caught is the problem...
Good size squill.
You gotta check the seasons if you want to be legal. Most species have seasons and limits that can be killed per day/season. And you need to purchase the license for the particular animals.
