    Been on my list and in between two jobs, started to work on it Little by Little. A .50 cal. ammo can stove. saw a post here of a member using it in a GI Pup tent. ( Sorry for got the Member's Name) a Great post. "Thank You" any way I have started and door and hinges Next. Thanks for Looking.

    Looks good, I'd like to make one too, but I'll have to find any other box/material. Our army doesn't use these amo boxes and US boxes are pretty expensive in our surplus shops:( Czech

    Good project. I've got one of those around and you guys are intriguing me.

    Are you keeping the lid openable, as is, or attaching it more permanently?

    Stage 2 The weld up

    Today with a little help from My Next door neighbor had a mig and let me use it, So with a 3 I.D and 3 O.D I welded up the main part of the stack. So far cost $9 ! Here is a pic of the weld up steel stack.

    With that built, sleeping outside will be like heaven. Don't you be thinking that doing something to get you into the doghouse is a way to get some dirt time. Patsy will hide the stove on you and make you sleep out in the cold. Just saying.

    Yep, i definitely stay tuned, i have somewhere also a ammo can laying around, and i'm still in need of a good stove, so next project coming along....
