I was born in Colorado,and now live in Nortonville(madisonville suburb)
New member here from Lexington, KY. Surprised to see so many KY bushcrafters here. I was beginning to think I was all alone. A meet in Red River Gorge or LBL sounds like an excellent idea.
Im sure that there will be a few of us from wv would like to get together share ideas and knowledge

I'm in WV bout a hour from the KY boarder so i guess that depends on where you are exactly

I'm in Northern Cincinnati, but frequently find myself in Kentucky. I was raised in Madisonville in the early 80's, got family in Somerset as well. I've traipsed around Daniel Boone NF, including RRG. Been to LBL once as a Boy Scout. Hopefully I'll get to make your next meet and learn a few things

I live in Owensboro. Plan to do some Bushcrafting at LBL and maybe Peabody WMA. At Peabody my canoe will be coming along also. Likely just backpacking at LBL.

Yep, Eastern part here too! I'm near the Red River Gorge region...
Just an hour away from the gorge, just outside morehead.

North Eastern part here but LBL was a yearly trip in Oct for me. Haven't been in a few years would love to get back down there.
Hey Scotty- I'm outside Nashville, TN and I get to central KY often. I lived in Lexington / Harrodsburg in the 80s while working from Frankfort to Hazard. I love trekking in KY.
A rondyvoo sounds like a plan to me. LBL, DBooneNF, RedRiver Gorge??? Or down south where the Big South Fork NRR interlopes into KY?

A get together would be great! I'd luv to see this happen. I think they had one at barren river Tailwater area a couple years ago, maybe we could start it up again? What say everyone? Any interest?
Just Checking to see if anyone is close to Northern Ky. I live about 20 minutes south of Cincinnati in Boone County, Ky.
Not currently but will be moving close to there in June.
