Got a request for a knife like this and thought it may be something to make regularly..These are two samples..All steel(in this case 1095) with a couple holes..Between 3 1/4" and 3 1/2"..Feedback on blade profile, handle etc would be appreciated..:57: Trying to keep the cost very reasonable. around $25 shipped..

Top profile looks better to me than bottom- especially from a lashing application.

I like the top one. I suppose it's a drop point? Seems to me like that would be a good blade for this type of knife. I could see my daughter carrying/using something like this around the camp and house. For that matter I'd carry one as well. Im in if you produce them.

It will be the end of next week(because of the holiday) before we have the steel but I plan on having at least 6-8 of them made for the first test run..Maybe more if you guys like the idea.

+1 on the top one also. Like the holes also in case we'd like to apply suitable scales.

They look real good! I agree I like the top more. The only thing I would change is the transition between handle and blade. It looks like the blade goes directly to the handle (i.e. there is no distinct change in the curve or anything to block/remind you that the blade is right there) without anything, but if I were to buy one I would personally prefer a more defined handle so I didn't cut myself. The being said they look really nice!

Edit: Scratch that, I just took another look at the pictures and it was different than I thought. It's perfect just the way it is. Awesome work!

Yes! I want at least one. If you can keep the price around $25, maybe 2.

I'd take one of the top designs, too. Both look good, but I think the drop-point design is more generally useful.

Agreeing with the last couple of comments. Top blade shape, I like the drop point design. Bottom knife has a nice round back/butt that would maybe be easier to hold. I am in for one Lisa.

Lisa, they look great, I really like the top one. 1095 steel , looks a good square spine, fits in an altoid tin, a couple of para cord sized holes , looks an easy to resharpen blade , so many bases covered in such a small knife! congrats on a great design.
