Ok, I know only a few people have gotten their BCUSA tarps. But, I have mine so I wanted to go into my own little woods and set it up in a configuration I have wanted to try. All of my other tarps have been rectangular. This one is square, and I think I really like the possibilities. This shelter is a lean-to type with a little twist. I tried to set this up so it is pre-rigged and you can set it pretty quick. A quick side note in the pic below you can see it has a label that says"Tie to tree". You can use a ridge line or pole instead of just tying 550 to the tarp. Here is a front view Rear view Side view A Max Condor II for size comparison This pic shows how to rig a ridge line to the webbing loops. This one is a Girth Hitch on the webbing loop This is just one way to rig this bad boy. Lets use this thread to see the different ways we can rig our BCUSA tarps.
