I was inspired to try my hand at working leather after reading a few posts on here....here's the result.
Hand cut....hand sewn using the two needle method of a saddle stitch...enjoy!

I would say you have a future in leather work if you want one. Very nice job.

Wow, that came out awesome. Nice work! Be careful, its another addictive/expensive hobby if you start going through lots of leather.

Very nice, MUCH better then my first leather craft project. Be very careful, you will soon max out the CC on tools, different leathers, and will soon find yourself making sheaths and carriers for your tableware. Maybe I need to start a new "you know you went too far when..." thread and mine would be when even your butter knife has its own scout sheath with firesteel loop and altoids tin survival kit.

Wow! You jumped right into stitching and did a super job. I was too timid to try it on my first attempt on a hatchet sheath so I just riveted it. My third attempt is on a machete sheath and I'm stitching this time. So far it's looking pretty good for having no sophisticated tools to work with. Will post pics of it when done. BTW, love that snap.
