I ordered two bows from Gibow Feb 17th and was looking for an order update so emailed him a week ago, no response. Emailed again yesterday moring and still nothing. Anyone ever order from Justin? I used a credit card so I can always do a charge back and I don't live to far so I could always knock on his door and ask what's going on. Any feedback would be welcome, I have to figure out if I'm going to wait a little longer or get my $ back right away.

Edit: The bows are in, photos along in the post.

First bow is done, I think it turned out nice.

If you don't live that far go knock on his door.

I think I'll wait a few more weeks and see what happens. I have a nice recurve, I wanted something to finish with my son.

Just got an email from GiBow, my order has shipped. I never did get an update but a shipped order works. I'll update this post when they come in with some photos and how I think the quality is.

I'm looking forward to your review. I've read good things about his bows but mixed reports about his customer service (mainly time to delivery and lack of commo).

The bows came in yesterday. I'm very happy with them. Packing was good. The bows cost me $80 per bow. I think that's a very good price. I've only strung the short one but it seems fine, no twist. The tiller is off a bit but I can fix it myself or leave it. When I have them finished I'll post more photos. Some drawing the bows so you can see.

Looks like a pair of pretty good bows Man! I like the longer one. Whats the pull weight on that one? You gonna stain them or just rub some oil in? scout4

The long one is 50# at 28" and the shorter one is 35# at 26". My son wants to stain the short one a dark red then some boiled linseed oil and a leather wrap on the handle. I haven't thought about the long one yet.

Nice stuff. Is GI bows the guy who first ran bowstick? If it is I'm glad he is back running an archery store. I made my first two long bows from staves i got from him. I shot both deer and small game with them.

First bow is done. Photos in the first post. What do you all think? I'm starting on the long one now, it'll be green with the same wrap on the handle.
