Can you please take a moment of your time to let us know how you found the website?
Hmmm, if I remember right, I believe Spork sent me a link.
I lurked off and on for a while, then decided to speak up.
I was invited to join by your good self when you and Faol first set it up.
i was watching bushcraft videos on youtube and found foals channel. he mentioned the site so i thought i would check it out.
If I remember correctly I found the the forum through Rons blog, I found Rons blog through primitive point blog
I'm not sure, but I think I "googled" bushcraft and then started down through the options.
I saw it once through google then another forum later on, and just joined.
Faol. He told me about it at survivalistboards last fall.
I was playing one day, and the google fu was strong within me.
I found this "Bushcraft USA" site, and decided to go, and look.
And behold, it was fun and interesting, and not all stodgy and
clique ridden. So, making fast my rope, I moored here. <g>
Faol at the birthing of this baby
thats pretty much how I found it too
Found it via Faol's blog, however I'm not sure how I got there!
Probably via Google search for "bushcraft" or some such...
Faol, looks like Koa owes you a ribeye steak. LOL!
Sounds like he owes me a porter house, with a ribeye for desert.
Searching bushcraft forums on "the google".
What may we ask, was the bet ? <g>
Was watching Faol on youtube.com and headed here right after the video ended. Much better than all the zombie crap at survivalistboards.com
There was no bet. I just like steak.
Faol is just a cheap bastage trying to get me to buy him two steaks.
Google brought me here. It is refreshing to find a forum that is so friendly.
search engine. Google.
Are you sure it was steaks, and not stakes?
If Sgt. Mac is around, it might be snakes instead of steaks!
I actually googled bushcraft usa to find any bushcraft sites located within. And this was the first result, been here ever since.
In another forum, someone linked to a thread here. I followed, read it, and then looked around. Liked what I saw so much I registered shortly thereafter.
Welcome Bluesky !
Google...thats how i find everything
My good friend, GrayOne, told me about this forum. I checked it out, liked it and the rest is, as they say, history. Thank you, GrayOne, for telling me about this wonderful forum. And thank you Faol and Koa for starting it all.
eagle told me
Welcome Bluesky! Don't forget to make an introduction thread so we can formally meet you.
Thanks for the welcome everyone. I intend to get over to the intro area soon but this thread made me want to add my little piece to the puzzle first.
one morning i just typed in BUSHCRAFT USA and this site was 3rd , so i entered and signed up... waited one week to get the membership... they thought i was a spammer do to the European name i guess, o yea not to forget to mention:
- Koa is of Italian descent and
- Faol is Scottish
No we thought you were a spammer because you posted a Cialis advertisement gaga sheesh.
Same for me!
I read a mention this site on another forum. Curiousity got the best of me and here I am.
Googled ;after tiring deciphering of BCUK''''''s bashers,benders,torches,poppers,undercrackers,ect.ect.
I think I was looking at Faols blog and found it.
LOL I was trying to register the web address www.bushcraftamerica.com and was brought here...No really thats how I found the web site I swear...
as a PS I am so glad I did thanks for all your hard work..
Yeah, I bought all the domains, just in case this bushcraft thing was more than a passing fad.
I am trying to start teaching classes in woodlore and bushcrafting. We taught our first class last weekend. I did finally settle on another name, but I am sure glad I found you folks here
Mountain Ron told me to check out the site, so I did, and I was hooked in immediately...
You know how I found it... Second Life
I think I was searching for bushcraft knives and this popped up, it was a nice find.
Its like a website about my own personal interests.
I was told about an article on BCUK so I just Googled bushcraft and here I am.
I was trying to hide from PWork...but he found me
Searching for porn and it came up as a pop up
