I dont know if I can entirely answer that question. I would like to go into the woods with a minimalist kit and survive for an extended period. I have no idea where I would do that.

A North American Grand Slam would be cool too.

Lots of things, but one I have always wanted to do was see the Northern Lights. Another I think would be unique is visit every continent. Antarctica may be a little hard though. :33:

I'd like to have an overall positive impact on my family and the people I interact with and enjoy myself through that process. Yeah...that's about it.

Well here's mine, I want to meet another wonderful like-minded woman to share mine and my childrens lives with. Bottom line I just want to be happy again! It's coming up on three years since my wife passed. Sorry for the downer, i've just never really thought about like this before.

To quickly elaborate - everywhere I've lived has presented phenomenal opportunities to live and amazing people to share that experience with. I have things I'm interested in...but it changes so often...and there are always new experiences coming and going that I had no idea could have even existed before. I love hearing what other people are hoping and striving for. For me, I guess it's that dynamism of experience and connection to people and love. This could sound over the top to some, but rest assured that I don't sit idly by and wait for such experiences. Ex: meeting the woman of my life, riding many of the most technical mtb trails in the west, start and perpetuate a super fun grassroots bicycle group and run successful huge community events, climbing all the major Teton peaks in a summer, road tripping through the northwest and climbing at tons of world class destinations, marrying the aforementioned woman and amazing partner, bike touring through New England with said woman, and upcoming - a so far perfectly healthy baby girl. We really live in a world of beauty and opportunity here. I'm lucky to have and have had these experiences...they all came from acknowledging opportunity as it came. I was lucky enough to notice those opportunities. I wish you all the same!

    Pay attention...there's something wonderful happening.

I too would like to take an extended motorcycle camping and touring trip around the US and Canada. The most I can manage now is maybe four consecutive days, due to family and other responsibilities. It will happen eventually when my daughter is older.

Otherwise, seeing to the general well-being of my family.

Help inform everyone that our ''reality'' is not what it seems. That there is much more going on than we perceive through our standard issue education. That we know next to nothing. To turn our world view into a universal one.

I think bushcraft is a very intelligent hobby, being in tune with nature and being able to take care of yourself outside of the ''bubble'' we live in is invaluable.

We live on a tiny island, stranded on a spec of sand in the universe.. We have yet to be enlightened. We have forgotten so much of what our ancestors knew naturally, through non-stop distraction. I hope this changes in my life time.

There's a lot of practical or possible things... Getting out of debt, homesteading, stickin' it to the man...

But, really... I just want to see something so beautiful and awe inspiring that I can't express it with words and stays with me until the ends of my days.

Sounds corny, but I've led a very dull life.

    bucket list

Number 1 on my bucket list is to run the Ididerod! This has been my number 1 for as long as I can remember.
Number 2 would be to find tha one person in life that will make me believe that there is such a thing as true love.

I interviewed for a technician position with the British Antarctic Survey way back in the mid 1980s. I didn't push it because they didn't pay a lot, and I was used to marine oil exploration money, but you know I can't help but think that would have been a pretty amazing thing to do for a few years.

I'd like to be as good a dad as mine was to me. Which would of course mean, finding the right woman and having kids. That's the only real mark any of us leave on this planet. Who we are to those we love.

An old VW camper van, canoe on top, my gear inside, no itinerary, no time limit...

Now, if only Mrs. Tinfoil didn't see that as a childish idea. Married 25 years and she still thinks I should start to act like an adult...

Kill a Bull African Elephant with a respectable set of tusks, preferably evenly matched, so that I can stand them on either side of my fireplace so that I can relive the adventure every time I build a fire.

Become more self sufficient and able to provide for my family with less reliance on consumerism
Reconnect with my two teenagers who moved out because they knew it all and see them better themselves
Provide the best life I can for my wife and my youngest daughter
Spoil the hell out of however many grandchildren they all decide to give me (which is hopefully a lot)
Help more people who are less fortunate than me...I don't do this nearly enough
To care less about politics and media and corporations because I am living a life that they have little to no influence over

I have only ever had two dreams in my life. To move west, and to buy land in the mountains. I moved west to Montana in 2009. Still working on that land thing....could be awhile since I have a money sucking little bushcrafter brewing in my wifes womb right now. :33:

Well, I could think of three things I'd like to do. One would involve some ice cubes and a nine iron. Two would include a buffalo, live or stuffed, preferably stuffed for safety's sake, and three, we bring back some of those ice cubes and switch it over to a pitching wedge- Billy Madison.

ok but seriously... I am working on getting my A license in skydiving. and my goal after that is to get certified for wingsuiting so I can fly the worlds greatest and most scenic cliff faces.

    Great topic!
I've been lucky and lived most of my dreams, including homesteading in Alaska, raising 3 wonderful daughters etc. Now I want to build another cabin. Not because I need one, but because I just enjoy doing it and spending time with my wife while we work together. I want to be able to cut and split wood for the cabin stove and enjoy the time by the fire. I want my old arthritic legs to let me do a little more exploring. I've followed those "Wild Geese", now I want to enjoy watching them fly by.

I have a bucket list and I'm happy to already have some things crossed off like

Fall in love, marry, and have children with a beautiful woman
Take a helicopter ride over an active volcano
Hike the Chilkoot Trail in Alaska/BC
    Travel to Europe
    Backpack with my family

Still on my to do list

Travel to Iceland and New Zealand
Watch my kids grow up, get self-sufficient jobs that make them happy, and see them married.
    Hold my grandchild
    Retire before I die
See some World Cup Soccer matches live.
