I am in the middle of a 48 hour solo expo. I ate 3 bluegill for dinner then shot a 120lb sow. (actually got it on film! I was more excited taping it than pulling the trigger and my first bullet was a misfire!) Anyway, i think i might be ok on food now. I am staying at bamboo basecamp tonight but i might have to go all crazy and go ultralight tomorrow. Well see. The place i hunt has one high area on the 1200 or so acres i had to hike to to text this to you guys. I hope you appreciate it! Lol. Back to the woods for me. Another update tomorrow night!

"48 hour solo" ... "3 bluegill for dinner then shot a 120lb sow" ... "i think i might be ok on food now" ??
And then - After the 48 hours, you are packing the remaining 115lbs of 'sow' out with you (so as to Not 'waste the kill') - Right ??

    ... just curious

I am a hunting guide on this ranch. I carried her to the camphouse last night and iced down most of the meat. I dont waste a thing even if it was double the work. Im smoking several pounds of it over my fire as soon as the sun comes up enough to work. Keep yall posted.

Ill be dining on some pig jerky tonight if any cares to join me. Ive been eating miss piggy all day like a glutton.

good news and bad news. I had to cut my 48 hours down to 35 when my weekend boss told me we have a client coming in the morning for a pig hunt. Too many things to get done to keep playing in the woods. BUT tomorrow I'll get paid to play in the woods! pics and vids coming soon of an awesome two day one night outing.

I'll be back in the woods tomorrow putting hunters on a different area than where I got my piggy. I hunt where there aren't supposed to be piggys...I pressure them back into the areas where I take the hunters...if that makes any sense to ya'll.

    Thanks for following thus far!
