    I was missin lil man today, so, i thought id grab his stuff and take some quick pix. Thanks to all of you that helped complete this!

    all but the knife, pot, and hatchet fits in that digi cam holder. He can belt carry or use the shoulder strap. The pocket in the back holds 2 contractor grade trash bags as well. I have more pix.. just in the middle of grilling and postin so... more to come! :)

    Dinner was NY Strips MEd rare of course, bacon wrapped and grilled asparagus, and BLVD Wheat as the whistle wetter.. For dessert Val made us a homemade (no box jazz here) turtle cheesecake.. Im up to my adam's apple w/ deliciousness.. :dblthumb: While tended ye olde weber, i stripped my BK7 bro.. might check it out :)

    Great looking kit. He must be seriously jazzed. When's your first outing with the new gear?

    Bacon wrapped asparagus is good, but you need to try prosciutto. It's a bit fiddlely to get pulled apart and wrapped around the asparagus, but man is is ever good. Drizzle with olive oil and broil gently.

    We tentatively set a "spring" date. Spring break Im sharing him w/ his aunt/uncle and cousins...but shortly after.. we're hitting the pond for a lil outing complete w/ fishing, fire play, camping etc. Gonna rock!

    we make a pasta w/ shrooms and proscutto. great stuff indeed...and yeah.. tricky is an understatement for that skinny pig :) :36:

    Nice set up. I have a 5yr old that loves hiking. I still carry most of his stuff but am teaching him the importance and safe handling of a knife as the primary tool and look forward to giving him his own soon. Can't wait for warmer weather for our 2nd camp out. And by the way, always good to run across fellow Okies!
