This is a great idea. I would be interested if this does indeed go beyond testing phase as well. I'll be watching with interest. Would it be out of line to ask people to post some pics of what they get/put in along the way? I'm interested in seeing it even if I can't be a part of it! lol

Does this count as 50?! I would like to be in for an official, non-test run as well! Lots of stuff to put in!

    Thanks

Kayak are we allowed to say what we put in and took out of the Box, or is that against the Rules? I forget!

What are the chances of posting a google map of where the boxes have been. That would be interesting.

Hey everyone, just figured i would give the people waiting on boxes an update. Right now, one of the boxes is MIA. The member it was sent to last hasn't been on the forum for almost 3 weeks. I'm hoping the box is still moving, and I'll hear about it soon, but if it doesn't, I'll add the people still waiting to the end of the other box. The other box is still moving, albeit slowly, and will probably wrap up its journey in about a month and a half......give or take.....maybe.

This is a fantastic idea, and one I've never heard of before. That'd be a shame if one was never seen again, I hope that gets sorted out. If this is still around as I'm more established here I would love to be involved! A great idea, Kayak!

Hi Folks -- It's my fault. The box came in while I was out of town, and as Kayak stated, I've been offline for a while. The box sat for two weeks before I got to it. Kayak PM'd me the other day, and the box was sent out yesterday. I'm very sorry to have slowed down this awesome project.

This is likely gonna be a slow time of travel for the box.

Both boxes are in transit to recipient number 9 on their respective lists. In theory, that means in 2-3weeks, they'll cycle back to me.

Once I have them in my hands, I'll give them a good going through and decide the fate of this idea. If it continues, I'll start a new thread asking for participants for the next round.

I have the box. I just checked my PO box today and found it. It shows that it was shipped to me on the 11th so it may have been here for a few days. I will be shipping it out to the name I have by Wednesday but most likely it will go out tomorrow.

My apologies for any delays I may have caused.

This seems like a great idea I hope it works well. I will surely keep an eye out if this continues as I would def. be interested in doing it.

I would be in if we do this again. I am quite sure I have loads of Bushy items somewhere buried in the Paleolithic layers of camping, fishing, hunting and general survival gear in the back of my 8500 lb backpack...errr 1999 Dodge Durango SUV. (EX: Couldn't find my hiking poles in there, so I bought another pair. Now two pair are lost in the truck.)

I'm not sure how the boxes started, but I would guess that they started better than they ended.

Rabbit I suggested this before. No need to place all the weight on one guy. Several other in this thread said they wanted in. Maybe you could start a new thread and continue the idea. I have not been active due to an injury so I think Ill sit out on the next go around.
