If you got pics you're more than welcome to put them up here.
I hope to be in this club here one fine day.
That's still one of my favorite handle combos. Reminds me of the old wingtip shoes.
This will be My Sweet heart in time. Thanks Brother IZ. Love this design.
Gasconades are just awesome!
#3 showed up in my mail box this fine St. Patricks Day! Found it for sale on BF and had to grab it. This is the only picture I have at this time but I will be sure to take some more and post them in the near future. I really like this knife.
That's the one! Very cool score, man. I used that one so much I beat the original handles off of it. haha. That's the only one to date that has the thermal mycarta.
and if ya ever decide you want to get rid of it, cockeyedhunter.....
seriously....congrats on a fantastic score!
I think I'd love it even more as it's been beat on so much - what a story!
I took #3 out for a walk today to see how it felt in my hand. Did some split wood fire prep with big leaf maple. Sorry Solocanoe, this is a tough little knife that I intend to hold onto. Nice work Mr. Turley.
haha...good on you, bro!
yeah...once you start using the Turley's....it's crazy how they grow on ya!
that one's looking like it's found a good home!
Definitely my most used knife ever. It has lived a hard life.
Great pics hunter and slice.
Hunter, in pic five of homeslice's post is what your knife used to look like...before I did stupid stuff like beat on the pommel without a pommel plate.
You listening Homeslice?
I see that pic of the hedge stump with your Gasconade driven in half way. Just sayin'.
Glad you guys like them, it really is nice to hear.
You can see how this pattern has changed since those first prototypes.
My newer Gasconade is on top in this pic and Slicer's is on the bottom. Slicer's is the same specs as hunter's since it was one of the prototypes.
Them there are some fine looking blades, yes sir, some fine looking blades.
The Gasconade River is one of my favorite Turley models, but this particular one has to be my favorite produced so far

One of the best looking Turleys of all time. It's like a tuxedo made of steel.
Haha I like that, good description!
IZ, do you remember making any of these knives? If so do you have any funny stories on them?
I remember just about everyone of them. The only ones that blur together some are the o.d. green ones, there have been lots of those so they don't stand out too much.
No funny stories really, I got some stories of frustration though. heh.
Great pics, J.
Here is some 1st action shots of #23
Great pics, bro! How you liking it? Hope it's working good for you.
Liking it so far, my wife was eying it up already. I suspect when you are taking new orders again she is going to want one with hot pink g10 or something.
Haha. I can do hot pink no problem. If I remember right I think there's actually one on the list somewhere.
Glad you're diggin' it so far, man.
I cannot believe how lucky and blessed I am! Number 17 will be on its way to me tomorrow!
It is now confirmed that I have been infected with the highly contagious Turley Knife virus and the only known treatment is to own more!
Great score, Jim! That thing looks brand new.
I know. Almost too pretty to use!
Just got home from a trip to NOLA to present at a conference and an AWESOME package was awaiting my arrival: Gasconade River #17, hanging out with Green River #36!
Thanks for the pic, Jim.
This thread (Gasconade river) need some love too!
3/16" o-1 tool steel, varied convex grind, bone linen micarta scales and yellow delrin pins.
It's my "bamboo" knife, very oriental looking, LOVE it! Thanks Iz!!!
Ah, So that is where it went I tried snagging it also but was a few minutes too late, which in Turleyville is similar to days. Good job and enjoy.
Sunny was the lucky bunny
Awesome, Sunny. That handle material does remind me of bamboo too. Cool pic, bro. Thanks for posting it!
Gasconade River #6
Now that is real nice, lovin the blue
Great pics, Kc! That's an early one there, nice score.
Great pics sides! Lovin that handle!
Very nice pics, Sides. Thanks a million for posting them.
My first real Turley (other than a Tops PSK) Gasconade River #6. Im sad to say that I haven't taken it to the woods yet even though I have had it since Saturday! I have a concussion and have to be real careful and rest but I'll post more photos it it's natural environment. But for now:
Does putting a pommel plate on the Gasconade change the shape of the handle much?
Not a whole lot usually. Check out the gallery on the site, there's a couple with pommel plates in there. Not sure how recent they are though.
Great pic, Chris!
Thread bump KnifeCraft has me thinking about the club knife again. Well to be honest I never really stopped.
Gotta do more digging around is there a blackwater thread?
Hey Pastor Chris where's those pics at?
