Well, it's not exactly bushcraft but it's outdoors related. I am almost finished this ice hut, it still need holes cut into the floor and some wood strapping to hold the tarp on more securely. I will add a vent and window when i figure out what exactly i want later. I will also hit up a local thrift shop to get some skis to make towing easier. The walls fold down flat for easy transport and storage. The idea certainly isn't original but I'm pretty happy with it so far. It cost me about $90 to make and this is with some scrounging and materials I already had. If I had tried harder to scrounge I could have done it for less but I was in a rush. The walls and floor are 5/8 plywood and the floor is reenforced with 2x4s. The dimensions are 4'x8' and 6.5'. Ialso have a pretty fancy door opener as you might notice. Haha
Anyways I thought some people might be interested in this. It could be adapted for other uses or made with a heavy duty tarp. I'll post pics when I finish it and of it folded down as soon as I can.

This is a classic design isn't it? Cheap and very rugged. Nice Job!

Awesome shelter, totally appropriate to post it here. Keep the photos coming. Would like to see some of it in actual use.

Thanks for the kind words. I will post some pics of it in use, when get out fishing. I was hoping to get out this weekend but the weather has turned mild and it doesn't look like I will be fishing any time soon now.
