Okay Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a short tutorial of how to embed your photos from Picasa Web into your posts on BushcraftUSA.

    On the Picasa web site:

    1) Select the album the picture you want to share resides in.

    2) Select the picture you want to share.

    3) On the right hand side of the Picasa web page, there is an icon that looks like a few links of chain with the text "Link to this photo". Click on it. It should open up a drop down section of options.

    4) Select the size you want your picture to be seen as in the "Select Size" dropbox, it defaults to thumbnail size. "Original Size" is always a good option for posting here.

    5) Check the "Hide Album Link" checkbox.

    6) Check the "Image Only (No Link)" checkbox.

    7) Select all the text that is in the "Embed Image" box, this is the URL to your image.

    8) Copy all the selected text.

    On the BushcraftUSA website:

    9) On BCUSA post/reply page, select the icon that looks like a mountain scene.

    10) Paste the image URL into the box that is for the image's url.

    11) Press okay.

The link to your image should now show up in your post surrounded with the words IMG and /IMG inside of [ and ] brackets. After you post your message or reply, the images will show up embedded into your post.

I hope this helps, Picasa Web is not the most user friendly when it comes to this sort of thing. It took me several tries to figure it out. :D

Select the photos you want to upload to a web album by holding down the CTRL button then clicking on them. Then right click on any of the selected photos and then click on Upload to Picasa Web Albums...

Let me know when you've gotten this far....

No, I don't think you do but I'm not sure. Hopefully someone else can help while I'm looking into it.

Look for the upload pictures button and upload them directly from your hard drive. Picasa not needed.

you have to be a supporter to access a personal album or the sites gallery, if you just want to post pictures you need a Photobucket account or similar and you copy the image code Also the pictures cant be to big in size 600X800 max :50:

You must have 10 posts before you can make your own thread. Nothing big, just reply to 10 threads and you should be good.
