Alright, so here's a product that not many people are aware of, but is pretty much MADE for bushcraft in my mind:
Its called the Poler Magic Tarpit, and its a combo space blanket, small tarp, and poncho. So far I have only used it as a poncho, haven't set it up as a tarp. So far, it works just as promised by the website, reflects heat back to you like it should.

Cool company, To the best of my knowledge made in the U.S., at least a U.S. company.
I will post some more pics of it in use soon!

One on each corner, so by no means a replacement for another tarp, but a good emergency piece of gear. Packs down to a bit larger than a tallboy beer can. haha

Does it come in pink for the ladies?

Actually it's a pretty cool idea. Would have liked to see it similar in design to a convential poncho with the head-hole in the center.

Similar to the one that Grabber (seller of the "Original Space Blanket") offers. Grabber's costs less, but doesn't come in that nifty bushcraft cammo :4:

@PMSteve, Yeah I would have liked that too, thinking of putting in two other grommets closer to where your neck would be so it could be worn like one of those svoiet style rain cloak things.

That would be cool. It would open up the tarp shelter options to have a few more grommets in other key spot as well.

What are the dementions, I didn't see any listed.

Sounds good but I have a reuseable/reverseable space blanket that has gromets and is
5' x 7', cost me $14.00 and it's been pretty tough and reliable.
I think the canteen shop sells them in OD green and Camo for about the same money.

I am gonna say 5' by 5'? I don't have a tape measure handy, so that is just a ballpark. So like I said, by no means a replacement for a normal tarp, but a nice multi-use piece of gear.

Is it very noisy? Space blankets are not at all quiet. And they make you sweat like a dog.
