If you got pics you're more than welcome to put them up here.
Mines marked number 2 but its number 1 on Iz's list
Heh. I couldn't remember which one had which number on it. I'll change it.
Kerri - I have one of these on order, how is your's working out for you?
Awesomely haha I really enjoy using it
Thanks. I can't wait to handle one!
Frig, that thing is cool, it just screams "business"
We have had ours for a couple of weeks now, and I REALLY like this tool My son and I have whupped on this hawk pretty good and she is holding up fine. It has some dings in the micarta and paint that won't come off the head, but this thing is tough.. It's probably going to camping with the Scout Troop this weekend, she'll get a good workout there. More comments to come..
if it survives a scout troop full of boys 'bent on destruction'...then heck...it can pass any test!
Hahaha, the scouts will definitely put it through it's paces.
I need to update this thread too.
Glad you're diggin' it, M.
That is the truth, they could break an anvil with rubber mallet!
Oh yeah - As J said, this one is here for the duration...
Used mine today to bust open some crates and wooden boxes not exactly bushcrafty but its an awesome multi tool
Awesome, man. I still need to make one for myself someday.
I thought I would put this here too, so everything is one place as it relates to the mighty War Hawk!

Thats awesome man, I used mine down in JRTC when we did CQB as a breaching tool and tore quite a few doors off of hinges with it
Great stuff, guys.
By the way, in case anyone is interested, I'm no longer making these. At least until I can get a source of 5160 in the size I need. The 4142 is just too expensive to sit on and wait for infrequent orders and too hard to work with.
So there will be three more (two on order now and one I'd like too keep) and then no more.
Sorry to hear there won't be anymore. I've desired the 31 for awhile.
Dang! I thought about buying J's, I should have pulled that trigger!
Yeah, just too much work and too much cost on both ends. Thanks for understanding, guys.
Hope it's OK to post this here, Iz. I just got this one in the mail from Bushtramp -
with BT's gift of a smile ....the canadian flag patch!
Sharp eyes will notice a lot of sweat stains on my cap with the Turley patch since I got it a few months back....
and some new scratches in the #21 Wilson's Creek knife...hehe...
both are hard earned....I can't stop using it.
I took about 3 swings and this war hawk put the silliest smile on my face! lol.
WHAT a beast of a splitter!!!!
Has a super nice J-leather mask (great job, Jake!)
and a Leather World belt hanger came included too.
THANK YOU, BUSHTRAMP!!!!
My favorite tools all came from members on here -
and I think of them warmly when I use the tools - this will be no different, bro!
You bet it's ok to post it here. I'm glad you did, man.
Glad ya got it safe bro. Thats a helluva tool right there.
quoted for truth, Jake - thanks goes to you too - it's an honor to know the hands it's passed thru!
I am glad he was adopted by uncle John
Samwiches and Tent Pegs, Warhawk-style...

Hahahaha! That was great, M. Boys and their toys.
Thanks for posting that, bro.
Great rig, M! Thanks for the pic.
Iz - I had actually posted it a couple days ago in the Edged Tools forum, but I thought I should put it here too. It's a great to carry that chunk o steel!
Woops, I've been off line for a day or so, thanks for posting it here too. Goose makes beautiful leather, you picked a great set up too.
Now that I have a sheath for it, I'm using hook a lot. We are using the woodstove every day and I have been a kindling chopping fool. The hook is perfect for producing kindling. The sharp, thin edge bites into the wood and as the head gets thicker, it acts as a wedge. I really think you need to make more of these Iz!
Great pic, Mike! Thanks for the kind words too, bro. I'm really glad you're digging the hawk and that it's coming in handy for you.
Wow, now that is a unique blade to be sure!
Evidently collectible now, too bad as it looks like a good tool to be had.
How do I get one of these
I appreciate you asking, man. Unfortunately I'm not taking orders on anything right now, I have to get the wait list worked down before I do.
There's a possibility (who knows when) that I might have an extra one of these days. That's the best I can do right now, I apologize for that.
From what ive seen of the guys who have owned one youve got to be really awesome, so hang in thete and work on your awesomeness snd one day you could have a war hawk. Haha just kiddin man eventually Iz will open up his list again and if i were you id jump on it as soon as i can its a freakin great tool
If we were going by awesomeness I would have 10 of them lol.
hahah. Attaboy! That's the attitude to have.
Some sweet looking blades, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the kind words, man.
I will have one when or if they become available again.
I appreciate it, bro.
How much do I need to save up so when you give me the chance to get one I'm ready.
I wish I could say, man. I have no idea what things will cost in four years time. As a sort of frame of reference though they sold for $400.00 to $450.00 when they were new.
Great pic, bro! Thanks
