Take some Beetle spins and you will catch fish. Pretty much any little pond will have some fish in it.

Watch for gators if your fish start to bleed and you rinse your hand in the water

I use plastic salamanders and worms. If you are staying on Disney property, the parks will get on to you about fishing in view of people and will tell you that fishing is prohibited. There is a really good canal behind the Floridian that produces and out of view. Fished there many years with no issues. Did get stopped one time and told them I have been doing it for years and was out of site of the general public (it worked). Watch out for gators. Good luck.

Spinners plastic worms and salamanders works best. I have actually been on a couple of guided trips with customers on the Disney lakes and plastics were the choice. Black green or a mix with some shiny specs. I purchased a Diawa compact break down for just this reason. Best of luck and enjoy the time with the family.

You should be good to go. Have fun and still a magical place for adults.

My wife always smiles when I say I am packed. Always have a breakdown fly rod or spin cast in my luggage.

Dont leave home without these ever. If you want to catch fish. These are my go to. I used to live in Florida and that's where I learned of these.

Any pond in that area that doesn't dry up will have decent bass and bream in them. I have seen 10 lb bass come out of small city park ponds in Orando

My lure of choice is the 7.5" Culprit worm in pumpkin seed and june bug colors. Zoom Super Flukes in bubblegum and pumpkin spice colors will slay the bass too.
