Quick early morning coffee run . Then a trip to Sierra Trading Post where I scored this Gregory Boone Overnight for $49.00 . $10 less than the ticketed price . It's a 40L which feels about right after I loaded what I would normally carry for such an outing .

Nice trip and looks like you got some great practice in. What is the Gregory Boone overnight?

GOD Bless you and your family

The Boone Overnight is the model of the Gregory backpack . My research shows them going for right around $200 sold in most places .

You know, one of these days I need to get a proper Kukri. A traditional one like that. I've eyeballed the things off an on for like 30 years but never actually pulled the trigger.

Looks like you've got a nice one there.

I have a few but this one (Jungle Panawal) is probably overall the most practical ? It's a full tang version of the classic Service No.2 . Light enough to ensure that I'll always carry it and still excell at everything a large "Camp knife" should be able to do .

Yup. 2:30 here. I have been binge watching youtube music videos playing songs from when I was a young feller. Just watched finished this one. Classic. :) Wish I could have been there.

Sometimes I get started on something like this and just keep going. Been five hours now. Didn't realize it has been so long. It's been a rough couple of days moving snow around and shoveling off roofs. Time to kick back and reminisce a bit about the good old days. :)
