    1. After making a tinture of ghost pipe/Indian pipe, how many drops would be used to relieve some of the pain?

    2. Poke berries were used as a due by native Americans. Would the berry juice be ok to dye knife handles or would it be absorbed into the skin and be toxic?

We played with poke berries all the time when I was a kid. It'll take awhile for the purple to wear off your fingers, but they never did us any harm otherwise :)

    1. I didn't even know what ghost pipe was until recently, when my son and I found some and the good members here identified it for me. I just searched the tincture you're asking about and it seems like powerful stuff! Good grief, be careful with it!

    2. I've fought my way through poke berries and got many on my hands, never with any issue. The natives used it as a dye all time. I'd restrain from injesting them, however. ;)
