OK guys, just putting some feelers out there. How would you guys feel about a Gathering organized around the early weeks of March? I am still very early on in the planning stages but my first step besides securing the property, which is around 330 Acres, is to get a feel of dates, so that I can obtain schedule guests to host workshops etc.

    Thanks Brandon

I'd be ok any time after deer season ends, but before the end of March... starts getting too warm then to really enjoy things. Early March sounds just about right. You talking about coastal plain? or do you have some land north of 10 and west of 165, where there are actually trees?

Yes we wanted it to be cool enough to enjoy but yet still after hunting season. The property does have trees I can say that much, cant really say much more until I have a firm grasp on it...
Once I have more info, I will release more....Planning for this to be more than just a meet. With workshops going on throughout the weekend taught by some very fine instructors as well as good fellowship between like minded individuals...

Organizing a Schedule of events right now, working with some big names, to come out and give us a hand with these workshops. Should be a great enjoyable weekend for everyone involved.

That's your problem Mike... you don't come when you're called. Just like a cat! :4:

Seriously, I hope you ALL can make it... be good to see you and your brood again. flock. herd. (what DO you call a herd of cats? I know it has a name.)

Tell Mrs Kat I will once again be doing amazing feats with a stick.

Haha seeker , as usual you set off a discussion in the white house. It is a clowder or glaring and a female cat is called a queen. But we could have guessed that one right?

yeah... now i remember... clowder sounds funnier, but a glaring is probably more accurate.

and I should have guessed it about the queen... didn't know that... i've had two of each over the past 27 years, and the two females were kinda queenish... one wasn't too bad, but the other made up for it.

Been out of pocket since Mardi Gras with job, family, and all kinds of other crap. Am getting my priorities back in line and would love to be involved with this.
